Over the Weekend #2

I arrived home and took noticed that my lil girl’s voice was kinda hoarse. When I reached for her hand, I was beginning to suspect that she won’t be well in a few hours time. Lo and behold! She opened up her mouth and noticed the swelling tonsils…again!!! Since it was already night time, I told her just to drink more water this time.

Saturday morning was different. Our son, EJ went to Balestier and attended the Sabbath services there. So, my wife and I decided to pass by a clinic and then attend church in SDACC. However, that didn’t seem to favor us. We instead spent our “service” in the clinic….waiting in line. As soon as we got out, it was already 12:30 in the afternoon. We went to Novena to have our lunch and went to Balestier for the Filipino Service.

Our afternoon proved to be a medicine for our lil girl since she was, all the while, in good company of her friends.

Sunday was quite busy for us. Few friends from the Filipino Ministry came over to spend the afternoon with us and celebrate Ian (bro, o ayan, advertise ko na dito ang multiply mo..hehehe) and Ervin’s birthdays.

Monday evening, my daughter excitedly called me up from the other room and asked me if I can take a shot of the sky. I asked, “why?”

“It’s just so nice, papa!” she reasoned out. “C’mon, you will miss those colors soon!”

I grabbed my Canon and took few shots and everytime I click my shutter, she would then say, “let me see first!”

I was just smiling having learned that hmmmm….my lil girl has also the eye for my hobby. I am just very happy!

And oh, by the way, this is the picture of the sky that she asked me to capture.
