The Polaroid Frame Effect

By rhoen • Jul 22nd, 2008 • Category: Before and After

Since we started with frames, let me just share with you one of the many versions of doing the so-called, Polaroid Frame:

1. Open up an image from your image-bank. As soon as your image is ready, select the Crop Tool in the Photoshop Toolbox:

2. With your crop tool enabled, drag and wrap it around the image:

3. Then, try to pull-out those nodes (outward) created by the crop tool and adjust it to your desired border sizes. However, make a good “height” size at the bottom, maybe 4 or 5 times more than the size you created along the left-top-right edges.

4. Then hit ENTER on your keyboard, and this is how it would look like:

5. At this point, I added some texts to describe the image:

That’s it! the Polaroid Frame effect!

BTW, Rodel Romero of NPUM took this image in the mountains of Bukidnon. Thanks, Rodel!
