JERAJAK ISLAND RESORT, Penang, Malaysia (June 2005)
A little over a month upon setting our foot in Singapore to work with AWR Asia/Pacific, we were
fortunate to have joined the Southeast Asia Union Mission of Seventh-day Adventists and AWR Family Retreat at Jerejak Island Resort in Penang, Malaysia.

SSD, Cavite, Philippines(September 2005)
Our first visit to the Philippines since leaving in 2005. We stayed in my folks place at SSD in Silang, Cavite.

TOKYO-YOKOHAMA, Japan (August 2006)
I had the opportunity to visit Japan in August of 2006, via the Narita International Airport, during the Japan Ham Radio 30th Anniversary! The event was held at the very spacious Tokyo Big Sight! Although, I stayed in Yokohoma, my host were so kind enough to show me around Kumakura (the country’s former capital) and Tokyo.

KUALA LUMPUR/GENTING HIGHLANDS, MALAYSIA (June 2006)
This is our first-ever family-outing to Malaysia via Genting Highlands and Kuala Lumpur. We arrived in Genting around 5 very early in the morning. Since we decided not to stay in Genting, we just waited for the sunrise and moved around the place. It was freezingly cold! But EJ and Ym were just playing around…perspiring! We then went down to KL stayed for a night before heading back home to Singapore.

MIDWAY - DAVAO , South Philippines (October 2006)
I was invited to be one of the lecturers during the SSD Communication Workshop held at Midway Beach Resort in Misamis Oriental. I have visited this resort a number of times when I was still connected with the Adventist headquarters in South Philippines, Cagayan de Oro City. After the workshop, I was invited to promote AWR in South Phililippine Adventist College in Camanchiles, Matanao, Davao del Sur. I was glad to see and meet former classmates and teachers, friends and former friends…tsk! tsk! tsk! It was also a time for me to visit (for the last time) my grandfather (my mom’s side), in Davao Oriental who was at that time, very sick. Well, it’s was worth all the travel, though I got sick when I arrived in Singapore.

BANGLADESH (March 2007)
I was invited by SSD to be one of the resource persons for their Communication Seminar in Bangladesh. It was my first time to visit this place. We left Changi Airport around 8 and we arrived in Dhaka around 11 in the evening (Singapore Time). The sky was hazy that night. I found out the next morning that many textile and brick factories are just in side the city’s premises. We stayed in Quality Inn, which has free internet and breakfast. The rooms were also very decent and it’s worth the price! We did hold our seminar at the headquarters of the Adventist church in Bangladesh. We had the chance to visit Bangladesh Adventist Seminar and College and the National Martyrs Memorial.

• EDEN NATURE PARK
, Davao City, Philippines (May 2007)
We had a short reunion with my family in Davao, where my younger sister, Ching, her hubby, Toto, and the kids live. We arrived at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport around 7 in the morning from Singapore via Cebu on board CebuPacific. And by noon time, we went to check out and visit Eden Nature Park. It was one of a kind nature place.

ISLAND HOP, Samal, Philippines (May 2007)
Just some few shots during our Davao itinerary. Of course, with the whole family!

MOUNTAIN VIEW COLLEGE, Bukidnon (May 2007)
The last we visited this place was still in 2000, just before we moved to Manila. So after more than 6 years, finally! we were able to see MVC again, our alma mater! We were supposed to sleep over in the guesthouse, but… due to some reasons, we weren’t able to do so…maybe next time!

DAVAO CROCODILE PARK, Davao City (June 2007)
Our last stop was Davao Crocodile Park, before heading back to Manila then back to Singapore.

JURONG BIRD PARK, Singapore (October 2008)
It’s been a while since we added some albums here in OurGallery. After our kids’ birthday celebrations, we visited Jurong Bird Park here in Singapore. It’s been almost 4 years residing in Singapore but the visit was our first as a family. Here, enjoy our snapshots!
